FALL CONFERENCE!


This fall we'll be joining six other RUF's from other campuses around Virginia the weekend of Oct 14th-16th at Crossroads Conference Center over near the Blue Ridge! You can sign up and learn more about it here. Hope you can come!

Tuesday Nights Large Group

Come join us on Tuesday nights this Spring semester as we make our way through the New Testament letter to the Colossians. We meet at "The Center at VCU" (819 S Cathedral Pl, Richmond, VA 23220) from 9-10:15, which is right at the intersection of Cabell Library, the Commons, and the Cathedral.  Hope you can join us.

Small Groups

This semester we have girls study being led by Taylor Wilhelm and Emily Williams looking at the book of Galatians. They are meeting on Thursdays at 4. Also we have a guys group that will be meeting weekly studying Tim Keller's Gospel in Life series. This will be a breakfast group meeting either Thursdays or Friday morning, though that is yet to be determined. 

One other thing that we are doing in RUF this semester is reading through the New Testament together. Some of us are reading about three chapters a day and will be getting together approximately every other week to discuss the reading. We'll be having lunch together in the first floor of Shafer on these dates to discuss the readings: Jan 30, Feb 13, Feb 27, March 5, March 19, April 2, April 16, April 30.

Tutoring with STEP

This semester we are starting to help out with STEP (steprichmond.org) in their after school tutoring program in Gilpen Court. We will be joining them from 4-5 every Wednesday. If you are interested we will meet at Park and Harrison at "Q-Tip" Park in front of the PAC at 3:45 and drive over to the Calhoun Center in Gilpen Court. We should be back on campus at 5:15. Hope you can come out and share the love of Jesus through words of grace and deeds of love to the children of Gilpen Court.
